One sealed vial is required per test ordered. Testing on a sample begins after intake, and the two-day turnaround is measured from that point.

Great Lake Labs analyzes samples submitted by clients and reports what the instruments measure for the batch identified on each certificate. We don't manufacture, sell, source, or endorse anything we test.
Results aren't negotiable after the fact. A certificate is issued for what the sample was, whether or not the number is flattering — which is the only reason a verification code is worth anything to the person reading it.

Before you ship.
How long does testing take?
Two days from the point the sample is received and checked in, to the certificate being issued. Samples are analyzed here in Michigan rather than forwarded overseas, which is most of the reason it isn't four weeks.
What exactly do I need to ship?
One sealed, unopened vial per test ordered, with your submission ID written on the outside of the package. Lyophilized material ships fine at room temperature.
Can I order just one test?
Yes. Purity, identity, and net peptide content can each be ordered on their own at $250 per sample. The fentanyl screen, heavy metals, sterility, and endotoxin tests run as part of the $750 Full QC Panel.
Who can submit samples?
Any business or individual working with research compounds. We test what arrives and report what we find.
What happens if a result comes back poor?
We issue the certificate anyway. The report states what the sample was, and results aren't changed after the fact.
Are all certificates publicly searchable?
No. Certificates are private by default and only become searchable here when you ask us to publish them. You choose at submission, and you can decide after seeing the result.
How do customers verify a code?
Every certificate carries a search code and a QR code on page one. Scanning the QR or typing the code into the field at the top of this page opens the report. You can also link straight to it, which is what most sellers put on their product pages.
What does the purity number actually mean?
Peptide purity is determined by RP-HPLC area normalization at 214 nm, so it's the target peptide as a percentage of all peptide-related peaks. Non-peptide process-related impurities are excluded from that calculation, which is why net peptide content is reported separately rather than folded into the purity figure.
Can I submit several batches at once?
Yes. Add each compound separately when you submit and the estimate updates per vial. If you're testing every production batch, ask about volume rates.
